Herzlich, who overcame cancer to make the Giants as an undrafted free agent, battled an ankle injury from November until the NFC title game. He was active for that game, but will not play Sunday.

Well, no crappier than Belicheck cutting Underwood yesterday.
Mark Herzlich & Marcus Cannon. Two rookies who battled against cancer, both making it to the Super Bowl (whether actually playing or not) is a pretty cool thing.
But like Underwood I believe he’ll still get a ring if they win.
Underwood still gets paid and a ring if they win.
He has already won a super bowl regarding life.
