ReutersA few thoughts after watching the Patriots warm up before Super Bowl XLVI:
1. You couldn’t tell Rob Gronkowski was injured. It was tough to tell, but they had him performing some reasonably intense blocking drills that they likely would have just skipped if he was really in trouble.
2. Chad Ochocinco was involved quite a bit in warmups, as pointed out by Greg A. Bedard of the Boston Globe.
3. Sebastian Vollmer rotated in with Nate Solder at right tackle on the first team. We’d expect to see a rotation during the game.
4. Brandon Spikes might be the most hyped player here. Mary Paoletti of CSNNE.com said she spotted Spikes punching himself repeatedly in the helmet.
5. Giants defensive tackle Justin Tuck had a long, impassioned speech to fire up his defense before the teams headed back to the locker room.
Time to get GRONK’d
thats prob who that pass was intended for
Eli covers something other than his heart during the anthem. Guess he makes too much money to respect the national anthem
