ReutersIf practice makes perfect, the Patriots feel better about Super Bowl XLVI than they did four years ago.
One Patriots official told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that this week’s practices were “ten times better” than they were before they faced the Giants four years ago.
These comments probably don’t much of a difference. We’ve never heard a coach say that they had a bad week of practices.
But if the media sessions were any indication, this Patriots team really has been more relaxed than the team that lost in 2008.
I am picking the Pats going away…. 35-14. Even then I don’t think it will be as close as the score would indicate.
Joe flacco thinks that the patriots are receiving too much media attention right now
Losers need more practice anyway- Giants whip em.
What else are they going to say? We haven’t practiced well.
This is going to be four quarter game. A lot of action between the 20s. Which ever team can make plays in the red zone will win.
Patriots will run away with this. They will embarrass NY off of the field.
Allen Iverson is not impressed…
Pats are a weaker group on both sides of the ball compared to ’07. While the Giants have a better group on the O side, the D is just as good. Final 27-17….watch for Cruz as MVP…no pat will cover him well tonight….also, look for Brady to be rattled very early in the game
Im Going Pats 45-31
Doesn’t matter
Lol guys, the Gatorade boy doesn
t qualify as a “Patriots official”.
Stop trying to grab headlines with this BS!
Pats 34
Gints 13
GO PATRIOTS !!
No of course they aren’t going to say they didn’t practice well. But the reason I believe it’s different this year as far as the Pats’ prep, etc is some of the vets who played on that SB 42 squad and are now not on the team anymore are saying so. They have no reason to BS. Whether it will matter or not remains to be seen. They could have had a great week of practice and still lose.
The Pats said earlier in the week, that their practices for the last Super Bowl were God awful. So teams do say they have bad practices.
I’m thinking the Pats have seen some kind of flaw or
tell on the Giants team and are either going to
exploit in the beginning of the game or when needed.
John Harbaugh still thinks he should get the Gatorade bath at the end of the game.
Were seriously talking about practice?
Well, I’m glad they were able to quantify that for us. Did they happen to give the alpha level and standard deviation to go with such an exact calculation?
practice? we talkin bout practice!!
I remember after the 07 SB that several of the longtime Pats players said they were the practices for that game were the most intense they’d ever had. To the extent that they wondered if they were too drained from practice to play well.
This time looks like just the opposite. Practice hard but not overdoing it. The game plan in early. Practicing Monday when the Giants were still on the way to have more time off later in the week for last minute rest.
I think giants are takin again
Hernandez meringues
It’s going to take 20 times faster to beat the Giants.
The Patriots are practicing 20 times better….who cares? What are the refs practicing to favor the Patriots, that is all that matters.
So the Pats should score 140 points this time….

Are you ten times as worried as you were back then?
And Tom, this time, shake Eli’s hand (during warm ups) before the game, don’t do the “aloof” walk-by. Bad Karma.
