So long and good riddance to Billy O’Brien – THE most overrated coordinator in the NFL today. I’ve said time and time again that any OC could look good with this offense against mediocre teams. O’Brien consistently fails to make
proper adjustments against good defenses even though he has one of the most talented offenses in the NFL. Just in the last two years, his offense was completely shut down when it COUNTED in big games against the Jets, Steelers, Giants, Ravens and Giants again. Brady’s 16 for 16 and the drives at the end of the 2nd and beginning of the 3rd quarter mean almost nothing when you look at one statistic – ZERO points in the final 26 minutes of the Super Bowl. There is one good thing I can say about him – his incompetency is consistant. We would love Charlie Weis back, but we will settle for Josh McDaniels or any average Joe off the street.

Overrated to the Nth degree. But, if it makes Brady happy, so be it. This ensures they will get Lloyd. They only need one more wide receiver (maybe two) to be much better. Package their first/second round picks, draft a stud possession receiver and they are back in the running for SB 2013. Other than the flawed Ravens and an aging Steeler team, who can compete in the AFC come winter time?

I respect New England and believe Belichick and Brady are shoe-ins for the Hall of Fame. But doesn’t it make you wonder why the team and it’s coaches haven’t been as successful since Spygate? Think about it:

Weiss-ND (Fail)
Crennel-CLE (Fail), KC (TBD)
McDaniels-DEN (Fail)
Mangini-NYJ (Fail), CLE (Fail)

These were coaches that were hot commodities during that timeframe. Just makes you think.

Josh McDaniels is a joke. The Pats didn’t miss a beat when he left and he had two opportunities away from them to show he was even halfway competent and failed on an epic scale both times. Josh is an excellent OC. He was not ready for the Denver job, and it showed. I’m happy he’s back in Foxboro. As for you “cheater” idiots, please….nothing makes you look dumber and more ignorant than your spygate conspiracy theories. They taped coaches signals. It was impossible to have any of that information gleaned during a game used in the same game. Logistically impossible. It was a more efficient version of an activity that virtually every team in the league engages in, spying on the opposition to get an edge. There are lots of accomplished coaches on record as stating they did the same thing and eventually abandoned the practice because there wasn’t any value to it. Do you honestly believe that a low level camera operator is going to review tapes, decipher and decode the signals, then find a way to relay the information to the sideline, and that information will somehow find it’s way to the field before the next snap? And do you believe that Belichick would put that level of faith in a low level camera man to in effect, call the game by determining what the defense would be playing? Give me a break.

Really, all the comments that say “this proves they need to cheat to win” is complete BS. They have been a dominant regular season team and have made it to two superbowls since getting caught. Do you really think this was just one trick that only works in the superbowl? If so I have some land for you just mail me a cheque.

One thing I gotta say I hate the Pats losing but if there is one team that has to continually hurt us like this I am glad its the Giants. There fans have said nothing but good game so far.

The fans that doing the talking are fans of teams that were not good enough to make it this far such as the lowly Jets, for fans that want to say what teams are finished. that is an imploding team, not the Pats.
