Solai could't get a deal done b4 and he could balloon past 450lbs once he gets a long deal. Regardless of the front we play we will show both looks and Langford can be used in both. In short yardage Starks, Odrick and Langford can all play inside or outside with McDaniels inside also. On passing downs Odrick could still play LDE with Kendall and Randy inside. The versatility creates a problem for opposing o-lines who have to study each of them because they could have all 3 line up in front of them at some point during the game.

I’m guessing the bulk of the aforementioned defensive complaints are coming from the defensive lineman. Most of Miami’s backers already have 4-3 experience in their careers and the secondary isn’t as affected by the changeover as the front seven is. If people are complaining about this, my guess is that those people have last names like Langford, Soliai, and maybe Starks. Just a hunch.
--------------------------------------------------
Starks has played DT, Langford can stay at LDE or play DT and Solai well yes Solai would not like the switch. I love the 3-4 and don't like fixing what aint broke. I do see the benefits of the 4-3 with the TE becoming more dangerous in the passing game he can get a chip on him before Dansby or Burnett pick them up in coverage from OLB.

Not a big deal. The 3-4 to 4-3 is a matter of putting Wake down. Soliai and Starks will do awesome. A wildcard, at least, will be on lock even if Moore is starting, as long as Taylor comes outta retirement. The last sentence is a joke, kinda.

offensive players are happy that Philbin has replaced offensive coordinator Brian Daboll with Mike Sherman. Jackson cites one “prominent offensive player” as saying that Daboll would tell a player one thing about his role and playing time, then do something different on game day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is why they don't win. They have the talent. They lack leadership and teamwork. It is not about who gets stats...it's about wins. Until all 53 players find that attitude and stick with it, it does not matter who the coach is or what scheme is being used.
The Dolphins have ran a hybrid the past few years anyway. That's not changing. They ran something like 40% of the defensive plays with a four man front. The only difference is they might let Soliai walk, which would be the smart move.
I'm guessing the bulk of the aforementioned defensive complaints are coming from the defensive lineman. Most of Miami's backers already have 4-3 experience in their careers and the secondary isn't as affected by the changeover as the front seven is. If people are complaining about this, my guess is that those people have last names like Langford, Soliai, and maybe Starks. Just a hunch.
Dabol made Reggie bush a 1000 yard rusher,marshal a pro bowl,moore a servicable qb,hartline 15.1 ypc,underrated fasano 14.1 and 5td's,and thats with having to play TE and RT simultaneously.
The dolphins were also one of the top teams in the nfl in plays over 25 yards. If anyone said we would achieve these with dabol, they would call it a success.
Because it took this team 7 games to get going is what got people fired.
