I would say he’s easily better than Flacco, Ryan, Cutler, Sanchez (SANCHEZ????), Freeman, and Bradford. And I LOL at you even mentioning these guys as better QBs than Eli. I’d also say he’s better than Vick and Rivers. He’s definitely in the mix with Peyton, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, and Rivers. And honestly, I’d say he’s better than Rivers.

I saw Rodgers in the playoffs this year and Eli was better. Rodgers was in his own backyard too. Brees seems like an indoor only guy to me. Eli ahead of Brady is easy for me because he cant beat Eli. I dont have Big Ben ranked in my top 5. Nowhere near as durable as Eli.

His attitude is perfect for NY, list like this one don’t matter to Eli. What a class act he is, and so is his head coach….two guys who really never call attention to themselves. It is extremely refreshing to see.

I respect your opinion, but in my opinion, Brady’s teammates made clutch plays all year long just to get him and his team to the Super Bowl. Brady simply does not perform at the same level consistently that he used to. You could also use your logic to say that many of Eli’s 25 interceptions in 2010 were a result of his receivers not holding on to the ball.

If you’re objectively judging their respective performances in the present, Eli wins.

Not an Eli basher or a Brady apologist, but the problem with “Brady of today” is he doesnt have anyone who makes a clutch play on his team (offense or defense). Look back to the 3 SBs he won, there were countless players on the those teams that just made plays when plays needed to be made. But when you look at the SBs that Brady has lost, he has had no one make a play for him. In SB42 all Brady needed was Asante Samual to catch a ball the Manning put right into his hands, but he didnt make the play. In SB46 you can argue that the Welker drop late in the 4th quarter falls into the same category. When the lights are the brightest, and the moment is the biggest, Brady doesnt get help. In contrast, all Manning has to do is launch a pass down field and someone comes down with it. Brady doesnt have a David Tyree on his team. All Brady can do is throw a ball that is catchable, and he has done that in all 5 of his SBs, the difference between winning and losing is whether or not the person at the other end makes a play. With that being said, I think the top 4 in no particular order are Rodgers/Brees/Brady/Manning

Additionally he should be ahead of Peyton. Not that he has a better “body of work”, but since it is players from 2011 only, I think Eli had the better year (but Peyton made a better commercial). Peyton technically can’t even make the list.
