Titans bring back lineman Otto

M. Otto AP

The Titans are not waiting around to get some business out of the way this offseason.

They re-signed tackle Mike Otto to a two-year deal on Thursday. Otto is the second player the team has re-signed since the end of the season, along with tight end Craig Stevens.

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reported the length of the deal. Otto is the team’s “swing tackle” and is a trusted backup to starters Michael Roos and David Stewart. He can also play a little tight end.

Tennessee’s offensive line needs a makeover on the interior, but it appears all set for 2012 on the edges.

They should let him wear number 00, just like Jim. (Are they related?)

He’s played decent for a backup OT/emergency TE.

    Not a bad signing…

    Awesome name. One Nation.
