That would be a lot to risk as far as playoffs/super bowl aspirations for this season, but would help them out a lot in the future.

I like Hill and he has been a good player for the Lions, but it’s a business and he’s probably hit his peak as far as value. I think Stafford stays healthy and we should groom a young backup that would cost less and give us another draft pick in the process.

You don’t get rid of elite players for picks, but Hill isn’t elite so he doesn’t break that rule.
