I agree. I think Dominic should be gone as well. While the Glaziers may have told him what he could spend, he drafted a bunch of worthless players that we will have to replace anyway because they don’t belong in the NFL (ie. all the DBs, all our linebackers, and our wide receivers) we have gone from the most feared defense in the NFL to a defense that couldn’t stop a top ranked college team.

I am hoping things will change but with the current GM and owners I am skeptical.

Elway now has the means to make a big splash in free agent signing this year. Will he do it, or will he stay the course of low spending and building through the draft? After watching Philly last year I’d be inclined to take care of current players and build though the draft. Many times talent does not travel well in the NFL. A hungry player has an outstanding year hoping for the big F/A contract. When they get the big payday they then disappear. Seen it way too many times.

The Bucs had a season ticket waiting list, yes a real one, when the team was trying to compete. Tampa fans are smart enough to realize that just because the team won 10 games a two years ago there was no reason to believe that we were on our way to greatness.

Combine a bad economy with ownership that abandoned the community by dropping spending to among the lowest in the league and fan loyalty goes out the window. The Rays and Lightning are not a comparison because Tampa has always been a football town but we seem to attract toxic owners!

If these owners wise up and start to spend their money on the product then Tampa fans will line up to spend their money on tickets. In the meantime we can see a better product at Raymond James Stadium on Saturdays for a fraction of the coin.

I think you missed the point of ky comment, those are the free agents that would be great to get, but as I said I know that the chances of getting a superstar in FA are slim to none. But for arguments sake let’s say a GM could get Williams, Vincent Jackson and re-sign josh Johnson …how would that make them the worst GM ever?

Not a whole lot of drawing power, unless the guys just want the money and dont care about winning or having fans in the seats.

I like how they have all this Money to burn and yet ticket prices (75.00 and up.) and concessions (9.00 beer) and parking is still outrageous (20.00). I got an idea… Don’t “burn” though money, and don’t spend so much, and make the fans happy.
