Randy, like the rest of us, has his faults, but when the guy is on his game, there’s not a better receiver in the league.

I’d like to see him sign with wherever Peyton Manning ends up. Peyton, Moss, and Wayne in Seattle sounds good to me. Or Peyton and Moss join Larry in AZ.

Maybe then we can have someone that’s played with Tom and Peyton decide who is better for a change instead of Colts and Patriots fans fawning over “their” guy and arguing ALL THE TIME.

153 TD’s speaks for itself. CC has been jealous of Moss since ’98. All of his past teammates have all loved him, so a cancer or a TO he’s not. It’s incredible all the hate he gets everywhere. He’ll have over 1k and 10 TD’s this yr.

Randy had 3 TDs in three starts with the Pats in 2010. Most WRs would let you spend the night with their wife for that kind of “quit”.

IF any team does decide to give Moss a go, Chris Cater just did that team a huge service. Moss is pissed by this and will now be playing to prove Carter wrong. Randy, you may be pissed at Carter… but he just did you a favor because now you’ll want to actually play up to your abilities and you may just do well given some determination and effort just to prove him wrong. You two can kiss and make up latter.

Just give him an incentive based contract. If he quits on you, you lose very little; if he plays lights out, he gets a well deserved huge paycheck.

With Carter’s comments about Randy’s penchant “to quit” like nobody else with that kind of talent, sounds like the buyer beware needs to apply when dealing with Moss. He plays when he wants to play and quits like a dog when he feels like it. sounds like he is a bit of a bi-polar personality when it comes to playing and does not have any concept of TEAM in his mind or vocabulary. TOXIC is more appropriate.

Did somebody tell Randy he’s two TD’s behind T.O. on the all time list? My guess, if he does come back, you won’t get much more then those two TD’s out of him then he shuts it down.

He’s right. Case in point the NFC Championship vs the NYG that the Vikings lost 41-0. When the score was quickly 21-0 Culpepper led the Vikings on 2 quick drives & had Randy Moss in the end zone & hit him right in the hands, twice & Moss dropped both & didn’t seem to care or try. Same thing against the Falcons 2 yrs b4 in the NFC Championship. Moss dropped a certain TD in the end zone & dropped a pass up the sidelines that would have won the game. Also in 04 the year the Vikings started 6-0 & missed the playoffs Moss had a td pass against the Bears taken right out of his hands that would have clinched making the playoffs. Moss didn’t even try for it. His prowress of catching anything near him was more myth that actual.

Cris Carter is a perennial crybaby and whiner, you can tell that his mentoring rubbed off on Moss in the wrong ways.

The way I see it there are only 4 teams Moss should bother with:

-Detroit
-New Orleans
-Atlanta
-Green Bay

If any of those teams don’t want you, it’s not worth returning Randy (my favorite player of all time).

No doubt he’s focused, committed and driven to get a contract, but beyond that nobody can tell for sure. The last image we have of him is burning through three teams in a single season without even trying at two of the stops. He claimed he was done for good then…now he claims he’s motivated to play. Why should we believe him now?

Moss is a cry baby who believes he is entitled to whatever he wants. He isnt a role model type, that is certain. Carter is right on with his evaluation of Randy. Randy quits on routs. Randy quits on his team mates. Randy quits on his team. I’m not just saying that either. I think Randy is/was a great football player. One of the best to ever play the position he played. He could have, and should have been better. He had what it to0ok to be mentioned with the very best ever. He blew that all by himself. I recall a few years ago. Brett Favre wanted the Packers to trade Aaron Rodgers for Moss. Packers said no. Imagine what the Packers would look like today if Favre had his way.

There are plenty of other former players now in the broadcast studios, yet none of them are as nasty or critical of current players and coaches as Cris Carter. I don’t buy the, “well, he’s paid to speak his mind” excuse. There are ways to talk about players without throwing them under the bus.

There’s Randy, coming back from retirement, picking his nose on “Moss T.V.”. Telling the world he will use that as his medium of expression and communication. BIG RED FLAG. There’s Randy, sticking the knife in Carter about the H.O.F. Carter only said what everybody knows. Moss has ability, but WILL FOLD if those around him aren’t performing to his standards. He has showed more commotion in the locker room than leadership. What an attitude from a supposed adult. Saw it firsthand when he was in Oakland, so now I would spit on his shoes.

Too much of an investment for a 5% chance he is really good, 15% chance he is decent, and 80% chance he ruins the team. I used to be a randy fan but its not worth it anymore. If the Eagles didnt even want him for the Dream Team last year then you know he’s done.
