Benny was hurt last year and I believe the only reason he wasn’t used more was the dreaded Turf Toe.

Teammates say he works like a maniac at practice and in the offseason, and is single-minded in his pursuit of being the best he can possibly be.

That’s a trait that’s hard to find in some first-round picks, let alone an undrafted free agent.

Fact is, it’s widely known in NE that this team has heart and chemistry, much more so than in 09, and that both Kraft and Belichick really liked this team from that perspective.

I love Law Firm, and if he does find more money and greener pastures elsewhere I will wish him all the best. He’s a class act and also will never embarrass any team off the field. I hope he stays though. I’m guessing Faulk is probably at the end of the line and they won’t carry Polite next year or draft another RB on the first or second day so he has a decent chance of sticking if there’s mutual interest.

I’m a Pats fan and the whole “dynasty” talk is pretty pointless. The Pats have the most wins of any team in the past 10 years and just played in another Superbowl WHILE rebuilding on the fly. As a fan of a sports team, I’ll take that. The Pats are competitive every year and always in the hunt. There are plenty of other fans out there who would prefer that over knowing their team is out of the running every October. You can dislike the coach, QB, team concept all you want, but your post is beyond stupid.

Pats will prob low-ball him, with two high draft picks at RB last yr they don’t really need him. If someone offers more, good for him. If so, they’ll prob add a cheap vet as well, some one like McGahee or RWillims last yr. They only carried a FB because they were banged up at OL. They usually only use a fullback(OL) on goaline situations. Faulk will retire.
