Come to the Vikings. All the tub of lard would have to do is stand there & eat up blockers like Pat Williams did. He could flourish. Hope Spielman gives it some serious consideration. Couldn’t be any worse than what they had last season. Get Landry in the secondary & a decent WR & watch the wins pile up. Or don’t do squat as usual.

I said when the Bucs signed him that, if he was going to succeed anywhere, Tampa was a good choice; he’d play he’s preferred role as a disruptor on the line and he had a player-friendly coach who would not stomp on his precious little ego. If he was going to succeed anywhere, it was there.

He didn’t succeed. I can’t imagine he’ll see much of a payday; it was basically understood that he had a chance in Tampa to prove he could still play at a high level, and he was, to put it mildly, not a high-effort player there.

Someone will sign him based on pure physical talent, but he’s never seeing big money or a lengthy contract again.

The only thing better than reading an article about the most obvious outcome for a player with the maturity of a three year old will be the inevitable story of Albert's future: "Haynesworth signs six year deal with Minnesota Vikings." Enough of the Dream Team thing you haters. It was an IDIOT back up qb(Vince Young) who made that stupid statement in a press conference announcing his signing. He also never said they were the Dream Team he said they were like a dream team because of how many “name” players the Eagles signed. No other member of the Eagles or coaching staff EVER said they were a Dream Team and pretty much all of them disputed that statement and were not happy with Vince for saying it. I also called Vince an idiot based on his all time worst wonderlic test so i think statement is warranted. Vince will also no longer be a part of the Eagles so just let it go.

As an Eagles fan i also say why not? If they can get him for cheap then take a chance. They have his old defensive line coach, Jim Washburn who has gotten the most out of him in his career so he may know the secret to motivating this guy. Plus its a very similar defense to what he played when he was at his best. Washburn found a way to get the most out of Jason Babin after he had been cut from a few teams so maybe he can do it again with Haynesworth.

Why as an Eagles fan would you talk about them having it in the bag? 7to10for6allday: Your team had it in the bag last year and the only thing that bag was useful for was to cover your face because of that disgrace they called a team. Having lived my whole life in the area, the Eagles have gone in the wrong direction and have missed on picking players with high character. Draft and/or bring in players that are hardworking and have a team first attitude. Enough of the individual players.
