The Eagles have decided not to raise ticket prices in 2012. This seems like a good way to avoid a fan revolt.
“We understand that this is a difficult economy, and we’re grateful that fans still turned out this season in sell-out numbers to support the Eagles,” Eagles President Joe Banner said in a statement. “Holding the line on pricing for another year was one way we could thank Philadelphia fans for their continued support.”
The Eagles haven’t increased season ticket prices in four years, which is laudable. Perhaps the only way the tickets will go up is if the Eagles make another trip to the Super Bowl.
That’s a trade-off most fans would gladly accept.
