Tebowmania descends on Westwood

Word recently emerged that Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has been working out with UCLA offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone.

And now the same thing is happening there that happened at the media center two weeks ago in Indianapolis before Super Bowl XLVI, where folks blew past men like Joe Montana to get a glimpse of the latest quarterback of a team Montana’s 49ers destroyed in Super Bowl XXIV.

“There’s a little Tebowmania going on here on the UCLA campus,” head coach Jim Mora said Thursday, according to  “There’s a few more girls hanging around the football office and the football field than there typically are.”

It’s the kind of buzz that Mora hopes to create in Westwood, but not specifically the way he hopes to create it.  Still, in the cross-town rivalry that USC has dominated over the past decade, it’s a start.

Maybe Trojans coach Lane Kiffin will respond by changing his first name to Lin.

Tebowmania is old news. It’s all about Linsanity.

Few more girls? That counts as Tebowmania? Man te standards have fallen since the end of the season.

Wait…there’s NFL news in LA? How is that even possible?

Godawful quarterbacking has descended on Westwood? BTW, do any of these girls realize that he might not be interested in them because he’s not turned on by people who have to pee sitting down? Seriously- this reminds me of the girls who were in love with George Michael growing up…despite the “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go” video.

I don’t care for his over baring display of religion but do wish Tebow could actually throw the ball as he is good for the league. He genuinely wants to help others and his commitment to the community is astounding. To bad his career will be short lived because he simply can’t throw a spiral. Sorry but he isn’t going to learn that now and still become a productive NFL QB. Hopefully he will find away to continue is good work after his playing career.

I bet this is what it was like when all the diseases began spreading in the old days. Defensive coordinator “doctors” are ready to inoculate the nation next season with the vaccine called “man defense”. The infection will cease for the poor masses affected immediately thereafter.

Tebow is the best thing to hit Pro football in my lifetime!

Idiot Jokeland fans still talking trash about the guy who whipped their team. I would say they’ll never learn, but lack of education is typically the standard with these fans.

OK, so your Tim Tebow and now this is the 15th guy to try and teach you how to throw pro style. At just what point do you think, hey maybe I suck. Did Bree’s, Rogers or Manning have to go through this?
Maybe there is something wrong with me?

  19. cuda1234 says: Feb 17, 2012 11:39 AM

The only reason there IS Tebow mania is because this site, the Estrogen Sports Programming Network and others put Timmy out there in the culture every day. (Can’t really call it news). Of course they always run studly photos and tell positive stories to make us all believe its true. What a joke!

Now I don’t think he will ever become a good QB or even a mediocre one but to suggest he should give up is just wrong. To even suggest that he should give in just makes me puke a little.

Yes Rodgers needed some schooling before he started. Not so much Manning and I am not sure on Brees but did you see Rodgers his first two years in GB? He wasn’t the QB he is today.

As bad as Tebow has been as a pro quarterback to date, he is definitely the finest quarterback seen in Westwood in decades!

  22. duanethomas says: Feb 17, 2012 3:00 PM

Tim Tebow is working on his game and next year will be the first QB to throw for 5000 yards and run for 1500 yards. He will lead the Broncos to multiples SuperBowls starting next year. He is the ONE.

    “…more girls hanging around…”

Why do they, or anyone for that matter, just assume he’s heterosexual? Is there any evidence of it?

  24. mrslay1 says: Feb 17, 2012 11:27 PM

Your the JOKE!!! You just can’t stand a real man (something you will never be) getting attention for standing for God! We do feel sorry for you.
