Tennessee will offer him what THEY want him to have.

But someone else will offer more and he’ll leave.

That’s how the Titans handle most of their bigger named guys.

If Finny wants to stay, he needs to accept what they offer…

He’s actually a pretty good fit for Detroit who needs a CB badly but they are nearly capped out at the moment. Still, you’d think they have to be careful about bringing in another guy with anger and character issues with the whole Suh thing and the fact that they are always in the center of trouble.

Finnegan is a very good CB and has a fiery demeanor. I like him, and would hate to see him end up in a dump like Detroit. He deserves better.

Best place for him outside of Tennessee is Detroit. Too many Corners leave their current defense and end up playing in another and never live up the contracts they sign because the defensive philosophy is different. At least if he signed with Detroit it would be a familiar system.

Dallas needs him badly and I think they would offer more than the Titans. He is good, though a bit undersized.

Finnegan was voted to be a leader for the team but I saw very little leadership on the Titans bad defense this last season.

And I believe the last time Finnegan got a new contract, that next season he didn’t play so well.

I’d like to keep him but I wouldn’t pay him as much as he wants. Not at the expense of the rest of our defense which needs lots of help.
