Giants coach Tom Coughlin was asked Friday afternoon what it’s like to be back in Indianapolis so soon after his second Super Bowl title.

“I feel like I was just here. I was,” Coughlin said.

He says the great memories are on “every street corner. . . . It’s a little bit of a blur, but it’s a magnificent blur.”

Once the reverie was over, Coughlin actually gave out some useful nuggets:

1. Coughlin has not had serious contract extension talks with the Giants. His contract runs out in 2012.

2. On Brandon Jacobs: “As far as I’m concerned, he’s a big part of [the Giants’ future].”

3. Coughlin fully expects Osi Umenyiora to be on the team next season.
