Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd has a chance to be the No. 2 wideout taken in April. First, he says he has to prove to teams he can run and that he’s put his off-field problems behind him.

Speaking at the Combine Friday, Floyd chalked up his multiple issues in college to immaturity.

“All I can do is be honest, tell teams what happened, and go from there,” Floyd said. “It’s about making sure you don’t make the same mistake again.

Floyd, who checked in at 6'2, 220 pounds, handled the barrage of questions on the topic well. He believes he’s an “all around” receiver and tries to pattern his game after Larry Fitzgerald. (Floyd’s best ability -- to grab the ball at its highest point -- is reminiscent of Fitz.)
