His career rushing average is 4.0 and he is an average at best receiving threat.

Looking at the big body of work it makes sense that the Seahawks don’t want to overpay.

Lynch will get a three or possibly four year deal or will make almost 8 million next year. If they had to franchise him again it would be 9.5 million and he would still only be 28 years old.

We don’t need another Shawn Alexander deal. The player is great, but he also had motivation to be great. Can’t forget the past entirely. If it’s not reasonable you have to move on. One player at the RB position can’t hold a salary cap hostage.
