Dielman and Matt Light played at rival high schools in Ohio. Light (Greenville) and Dielman (Troy) started next to each other a couple of years ago in the Pro Bowl and I had to laugh a bit.

I played a year with Light and 3 against Dielman, Kris knocked the crap out of me more than once as a TE blocking for Ohio's Mr. Football, Ryan Brewer (played for Lou Holtz at SC).

Good luck in your retirements guys.

"They played the chiefs the second time without Jamaal Charles, Eric Berry, and Matt Cassel. Jamaal Charles is their best player, tough to win without him. So the chargers should’ve been able to beat them.

The Raiders lost Darren McFadden and pretty much half of their offense the second time around.

The Broncos will improve if they surround Tebow with some talent other than Demaryius Thomas. Also if they add some talent in the secondary. "
=========================

Ah, right, and the Chargers didn't have any injuries all year...aside from McNeil, Dielman, Hardwick, Vasquez, Gates, Mathews, Tolbert, Jackson, Floyd, Jammer, Castillo, Cesaire, Sanders, LaBoy, Phillips and Kaeding...

San Diego finished third last year with only the chiefs behind them. I don't see why it can't happen again considering even the chiefs are getting better. Oakland might collapse and Tebow may or may not get exposed. But them finishing last in the division is a decent possibility,

First, I want to wish Dielman all the best in his post-NFL life if this is the end of the road as a player. He's been the granite f0undation of the offensive line and locker room for the past half-decade.
__________________________

San Diego will probably finish 3rd in the division again, maybe 4th. Denver has shown they can beat them, the raiders can with everyone healthy, and we know the chiefs can.
__________________________

3rd again????????

If I'm not mistaken, the Chargers tied for the division lead in 2011 during an awful season. If you're going to get down to tiebreakers, then the Chargers finished an awful 2nd.

As for Denver "showing that they can beat them", it took a semi-pro looking Chargers' offensive line on the field and a missed figgie in OT for the Broncos to show they can "win" after doing next to nothing offensively for the majority of the game. Counting on that to happen again with a 1st place schedule is folly - but believe it if you want.

As for the Chiefs: you're counting on Rivers to fumble an uncontested snap to give you a victory in 2012 as it took for them to win in 2011? Good luck with that!!

The Raiders are scrambling to get the cap straight and will have nothing coming in during the draft due to Hue's fiasco in acquiring Palmer for a king's ransom.

So long as the Chargers have by far the best franchise QB in the AFC West (even after a horrible season by his standards), you'd be foolish to count them short anytime over the next half-decade while he's still in his prime. I absolutely LOVE IT that the Chargers are now seen by many as being a 3rd, maybe 4th place team in the AFC West now that other teams have reached the mighty .500 goal!!

@sportsmeccabi

?....the Bolts were a Rivers fumble from sweeping the Chiefs, they destroyed the Raiders the 2nd time they played with the Raiders playoff hopes on the line, and were a Tebow/Prater miracle away from sweeping the Broncos. They have just as good of a chance of winning that division as any team in it...they lost 3/5 of their o-linemen last year and were still pretty prolific putting up points.
