Ok, there’s no ‘character’ assesment in Shannahan’s litmus test. This should be obvious by now. But if I need to review the qualifications, #1 he was a Raider, #b he coached Romanowski, and #& – two star players are on the verge of being suspended for a year for stupid shti.

There may be other folks in the org who are lobbying for ‘character guys’ but between the owner & the Shannahans’ this can’t be a priority.

But all that aside, the numbers won’t be that steep when we factor rookie caps, no?

Will is the type of character guy Shannahan is looking for. He brought that VA Tech Hokie “lunch pail” with him to Ashburn, and earned a contract with it. Good for him.

Can understand how dressing up like ms piggy on sudays represents football or the redskins.sound like a secret fetish to me.

He’s developed into a decent starter. I think he’s more ideal as a interior depth guy, but he’s a decent starter who gives bulk and experience. On the OL, they need some more interior competition, but the main issue is settling RT, where Jammal Brown was uneven at best. There’s some young assets to look at (like Willie Smith), but they definitely need a strong challenger there, unless Jammal is 100% (even then, he has no guaranteed money left, so he might be on the chopping blocks anyways).

Oh, wait, most importantly, Trent Williams needs to Just Say No, and improve.
