Desean couldn’t get away from Sam Shields, a guy with great speed an only 1 year at college CB under his belt. I doubt Desean can get away from this guy with a training camp or two under his belt. Speed at DB makes up for A LOT of warts.

We could use a few good corners. Forget the quickness…Mayock’s comments about his coverages is what matters imo. I think Tampa would be wises to give him a look at least. WE need a couple good corners in either FA or the draft. Barber–too old, Talib, could be in prison and should be cut anyways, even if he isn’t and Biggers isn’t any good in my opinion. Mack and Lewis are okay for secondary help but they are about all Tampa has in the defensive backfield. IMO.

Im certainly not saying I wouldnt draft the guy, but I look at USC from 5 years ago, and see how many guys that terrific program put into the NFL, that stank the joint up.
