In Rex Ryan’s 2011 book, Ryan writes “When people ask me what it’s like to share New York with the Giants, my response is always I am not sharing it with them – they are sharing it with me. … It seems clear that right now we are the better team and we are going to remain the better team for the next 10 years. Whether you like it or not, those are the facts and that’s what is going to happen.”

The Giants beat the Jets in Week 16 the 2011 season and went on to win Super Bowl XLVI less than two months later.

Rex shares his wife with other men so I think he would have no problem sharing a stadium with the Giants.

The coaching style employed by Rex typically has a short shelf life, particularly when you don't win a title. I'm sure that he's okay this year, but if the Jets miss the playoffs again in 2012, he will be firmly in the hot seat. And given the talent on this team, the over/under for Jets wins in 2012 will be around 8, not enough to make the playoffs in the AFC East.
