I would love to see the Rams get stuck with this pick.. then what would they do?

Gee, I don't know..maybe possibly draft the best LT prospect in the last decade or a WR with huge upside which the team really needs

To bad the Rams have not realised their Franchise QB got them the #2 pick

Too bad you can't spell and if you actually followed the team you would know that most of his OL and WR's ended up on IR. Learn your facts before you start spouting off

I think you over emphasize the whole, ” relishing” to play Indy twice a year! Griffen will set out to show his skillls during every game, not just the two games against a team that has no choice but to take Luck!
We have seen how many Blackletes successful at the QB position (maybe 6) at a high level over the past 40 years and how many whitletes, dominate the same position???
Sorry to be “racist” , but c’mon man! Its basic math!
Cam had a great Rookie season, but to little of a resume to hoist your franchise on a guy that ” maybe” is the same type of athlete! Griffen seems to be smarter, and classier than Cam but, is he really that good?
Tell me something I don’t already know? I am open??

Don't seem to be open at all. You're a closed minded idiot.

Les Snead: Hi, this is Les Snead.

Other GM: Hi Les. I was wondering why you keep spreading all these rumors about the #2 pick being worth insanely more than it actually is.

Snead: Well I thought that was obvious. I'm terrible at my job, so I'm naturally hoping some team is foolish enough to believe what the media says the pick is worth, that way, I can still rip them off by making them think they got a good deal.

Other GM: That's all well and good, but the headlines are getting boring and annoying, can you give it a rest already. I doubt other GM's are as short sighted as you are.

Snead: No I will not. Like I said, I am terrible at my job, this is my only hope in retaining some job security. Therefore, you can expect new rumors every 2-3 days until draft day.

Other GM: Good luck with that Les. This isn't bush league or anythng like that. At least we learned how simple media outlets have become to broadcast this nonsense.

Snead: Thanks, I'm glad you understand how incompetent I am, but I think we both can agree that the media is even worse off.

Other GM: I fully expect you to be waiting for the phone ring until the last second on draft day, then I won't be shocked when I hear "With the 2nd pick in the NFL draft, the Rams select ...".

I dont want RG3.

Cunningham, McNabb, and now Vick havent won anything with their legs. I dont want to see another mobile QB in Philly for the rest of my life.

Dump Vick and draft an actual QB. Not a darn RB that can throw a bit.

will somebody please tell the league RG3 is not going to be good. The big -12 sucks. there's a reason why these "draft experts" said last year he is nothing more than a wr at the next level. Any team trading up for him will be set back 5+ years

The guy didn't even throw at the combine which concerns me. And he only put up "huge" numbers in the weak Big12. what if this guy doesn't even pan out and someone sold the farm to get him. Heads will roll after this!

If the Jaguars trade up to get RG3 you can pretty much assume that Mr Kahn needs to be in a padded room. New ownership or not, you don't take quarterbacks in the first round of successive drafts. You just don't.

And I'm sorry, but RG3 is far from a can't-miss. He's a nice, young, charismatic guy and I hope he tears it up in the NFL. But really, how many of you even heard of him before last Fall?

Everything I've heard suggests it would take a #1 and #2 pick this year, as well as a #1 next year to trade with the Rams. So basically you get RB3 and nothing else for the next few years. Yeah, that'll work out great. Maybe some team could just trade away their entire draft and then take a picture of him in a wedding dress. Wait, that's been done already.

Why on earth does anyone think the Eagles are interested?

The extended Vick for large dollars, franchised DeSean, and have a coach on a 'win now' tightrope.

How does any of that add up to RG3?

I have a hard time following your logic about the Jaguars moving up to take RGIII... We're deep in SEC country - folks here could tell you who the backup running back is for Alabama before they could tell you where Baylor is. Aside from being the Heisman winner, I don't think he has the star power you think, at least not here...

And Jags owner Shad Khan surely would relish having the kind of star player that would allow the team to put those tarps in mothballs.

Really. Gonna bring up the tarps yet again and still not explain to your minions on here the stadium holds 67k with tarps and 78K without. On behalf of the individual in Jax that's in your pshyche, I apologize. You are worst than a woman scorned.

While I'm sure that's a true statement, it's not like he'd say anything but that. In order for the Rams to maximize the value they can obtain from the trade there needs to be the impression that more than one team is involved. Saying "no one's interested in the pick" is rather counter productive.
