Hopefully he can learn to hold his water on 3rd down. I can remember at least 3 occasions on 3rd and less than 5 when he jumped offsides. No reason to gift first downs.

As long as the team keeps shelling out the cash then it’s all good. The problems start surfacing once they crunch up against the cap. Eventually every good club has to make some hard decisions.

Not a Niners fan but i’m very impressed how quickly they’ve turned around off the field. They are taking care of their own guys and seem to have a solid plan along with a solid core of executives and coaches.

I like the de-escalator clause. He should be making more every year if he is still producing, however if he isn’t, he shouldn’t be making more.

That being stated. It is really nice that a player finally put their money where their mouth was.
