Get with the program. No news is news until Schefter confirms it or shoots it down. This includes news tweeted by reporters, players, or players agents. Since Schefter is the best source he is now considered THE source. It is the job of PFT and other writers to take information confirmed by Schefter then get more information and turn it into an actual story. To take a story that Schefter has not yet confirmed can create false storys and misinformation. That’s why its becoming more evident that there is an unwritten rule among reporters not to write a story untill Schefter confirms the news. Obviously this only holds true for things like free agent signing, franchise tags, cuts, etc. that actually need confirmation by Schefter to be rendered true.

The Andre Johnson stuff is getting old. 99% of corners would get slapped around by AJ, atleast Cortland tried to go toe 2 toe with him. This guy isnt immature either. He’s a leader on the field playing 100% of the Titan’s defensive snaps. A leader in his community as well. Cortland would be an instant starter for every defense in this league. He had the worst pass rush support in the league so saying he’s only good because of line support is 100% false.

Im pretty sure Stafford had a self destructive moment last year. Actually it lead to a small brawl with the Bears. He had a brain fart but nonetheless it was immature and SELF- destructive. Now CJ is just a class act. It’s obvious. But Pettigrew, Titus, Suh, Fairley, Gosder(always been self-destructive). All young and talented, also had their moments last year, so yeah he got it right talented immature and self destructive. Im a Lions fan and not blind. Next year, expect a more mature team, without a doubt. Lions grew a whole lot this year and the NFC North needs to be scared.

This guy has been overrated for years! Not saying he’s bad but the Titans D-line has been one of the more consistent d-lines in the past decade. Plus he had decent safety’s over the top for years. I hope Dallas overpays for him so they can continue to suck.
