While it’s great to see players signing lucrative contracts which makes respective team fans happy-how high are these salaries going to go before ticket prices double? There is a 53 man roster to pay. Over the past 2 seasons I have seen many players sign huge contracts and then they simply don’t produce as well. The Owners will soon be notifying fans they need more money to pay their employees!

This guy is a top 5 back. Maybe top 3. If he’s not getting top 5 money, accepting is a big mistake. IMO He’s already worked for essentially free last year at 600k. Someone at his skill level should be making 8 to 10 million a year with 30 mil guaranteed.

Taking nothing away from Adrain Foster but he is not top 3 maybe not even top 5 Peterson, Rice, Jones-Dew, Mccoy, Forte, Fred Jackson, Steven Jackson (he has never had a great o-line or a passing game and still is always among the top of the league) you can consider all of these backs to be at least his equal if not better

The only INDIVIDUAL position that is without question harder to replace than a GREAT RB is Quarterback. Let’s be fair. It can reasonably be argued that a great RB is more valuable than any other player on their team except the QB. Why don’t you ask these teams how easy it is to replace a RB. All of these teams were on their way to the playoffs before they lost their back. What other players are more valuable on those teams? Not many

Do their teams make the playoffs without Ray Rice Frank Gore Arian Foster Michael Turner Willis McGahee

Do you think the Chargers make the playoffs with D. Sproles?What about A. Peterson in Minnesota how easy is he to replace. Lets not forget about Chris Johnson and his three pro bowl years out of 4 years on the league. Yes, 3!

Forte is very good, would love to have him on my team. But, where do you get the idea that he deserves more than Foster? I don’t see that at all.

If you were arguing Lynch then I could understand it, but not Foster.
