Well since the Bills Stadium holds over 73,000, if they had 5,000 no shows that would mean they could still sell out the Steelers stadium. So I don’t think those fans are that bad. You figure they probably have been getting around that 68,000 mark game in and game out even though they haven’t made the playoffs in over 10 years. I think the Bills fans are actually pretty die hard and dedicated. Both my brothers are Bills fans and they have been getting more frustrated year after year and its getting to the point that they don’t even want to root for the Bills because of the ineptitude and the frustration they recieve from being a Bills fan. But they just can’t stop wanting the Bills to succeed and they can’t stop watching so there they are every Sunday watching the Bills even though they know its just going to make them angry and frustrated.

As for players’ feelings about Buffalo, the flakes tend to hate it (e.g., McGahee) while many of the character guys decide to live here after they retire – even if they’ve ended their careers elsewhere.
