So how does this thing work exactly. They’re supposed to get the average of the top 5 at their positions in the league, correct? But there are 3 DE’s and 5 kickers that have been tagged. I’m assuming not all of these 3 K’s and 5 DE’s are already in the top 5 at their respective positions as many top 5 guys aren’t even free agents this year. So now you end up with more than 5 guys making top 5 money for their positions? The rising tide raises all ships, I guess.
Oops! I reversed the numbers for K’s and DE’s at one point… But you get my drift (I hope).
