Marcus Vick reports to jail

Marcus Vick is in jail.

Vick, the little brother of Michael Vick who played one game for the Miami Dolphins, reported to jail on Sunday after going on the lam for a week. Vick had been sentenced to 10 days in jail for contempt of court over twice failing to show up in court when he was charged with driving on a suspended license. He did not report to jail last week and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Vick was already facing an arrest warrant in another county over a separate issue and will be transferred to that county once he’s done serving his current 10-day sentence.

The other arrest warrant was for Vick’s failure to show up to court in a lawsuit brought by a woman who had a relationship with Vick during his time as Virginia Tech’s quarterback. The woman was an underage girl at that time, and Vick was convicted of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in connection with that relationship.

The Daily Press reported last week that Marcus Vick was initially served papers in that lawsuit at Michael Vick’s 2010 birthday party, the same party where, 90 minutes later, Michael Vick’s former friend and dogfighting co-defendant, Quanis Phillips, was shot.

    I hate making comments like this because I’m not a bitter middle-aged white guy who’s angry with the world, but here it goes: I don’t care how much polish the Eagles or the NFL put on that turd, Michael Vick and his family is, has been, and always will be straight ghetto in every possible way.

    He had to get his personal affairs in order, Wills, Trusts, Estate planning, and to change his assest allocation in his investments to a more conservative mode. This guy is a responsible citizen……..also his family had a going away party for “mamas baby”.

    Pretty sure mom became proud of Mike after he bought her a mansion and a bunch of cars. How many people here can afford that? LOL.

    He needs to contact Lyndsay Lohan and find out who is her attorney. Don’t these courts understand that these “special people” are above our laws and judicial systems?

    They should save everyone involved the money, effort and heartbreak, and just keep him there.

    There’s no room in L.A. jails for spoiled rich white actresses. Who they have to monitor and watch everyday and keep away from other real “criminals”.

    There’s plenty of room in the south jails for spoiled former black athletes. He’d fit right in.

    You racist b’s write these article in order to get attention from the other racist. Who cares whether or not Marcus Vick turned himself in, who even cares that he had a warrant for his arrest. What the hell does this have to do with sports, what team does Marcus Vick play on, hell he’s not even in the NFL, but for some reason you find it neccessary to write an article about it. Brett Farve’s sister has been arrested a number of times for real (felony) crimes, not just a misdemeanor traffic violation, but you can’t find the time to write about her, but you have all the time in the world to write about Vick. You wonder why people (such as myself) call you racist. Anything a black man does you make a big deal out of it, however when it’s someone white, you flip the script.

    As for those of you who say his mother should be proud, certainly she should be, she has a son who is starting qb in the NFL, making millions, that is cause enough for her to be proud. What’s wrong you mad because you can’t afford to buy you momma a mansion. Nothing worse than a bunch of hateful bitterazz people. Had Vick been white you wouldn’t give a dam.

    What’s wrong you mad your parents aren’t proud of you, from this comment alone I think I can understand why they aren’t.

    @choice1329

    Most wouldn’t care if race baiters like you called them racist.   Racial sickness exists when race is brought up for reasons that have no bearing on the subjects being discussed.  The Vick brothers ARE criminals plain & simple.  And that has nothing to do with race.  But you shilling for them sure seems like it is.

    Your last sentence tells the real story though, are you serious with that??  So you are telling us that if this was the Manning brothers instead of the Vick brothers you would still be here writing paragraphs telling us how proud Archie & Olivia should be??  Seriously??

    That’s the difference, if it were the Mannings the same people would say the same kinda things.  The missing part would be your racist accuations because YOU would be condemning them instead.
