Jeff Saturday said it would be an insult to Peyton if he had a pro day workout.

Any team would be stupid to sign him without a workout, but then again there is a few stupid owners.

Why wouldn’t Seattle simply pick up Manning on waivers? What’s the risk? They have the room under the cap & enough team in place. Their owner is crazy-rich & it’s not like they will spend to the cap w/o Manning. Pick him up, maybe Wayne, & draft a pass rusher or 3

It was my understanding that a poster on here, who apparently is not only a quarterback coach, but also an expert in athletic medicine, said Peyton can not throw and is done at the position. To that I say, good luck 18…(I’m sure once the poster is proven wrong, he will quickly change his name to Lucksneck12)

There is no bigger fan of Peyton Manning than me, but this is not Peyton Manning from 2004……or 2010 for that matter. It’s a gamble and if I’m the Dolphins, I’m gonna gamble on Flynn (assuming Philbin thinks Flynn can be “The Guy”). If Philbin doesn’t think Flynn is the guy, then the Dolphins are hosed for yet another season.

OK… whatever you say, but they Hawks don’t have a top 1o defense (maybe this year) — don’t have a better than average OLine (but it was getting better) and the Dome… ah, that was demolished about a decade or so again.

Wanna try again why he’ll sign with my Hawks?

Peyton Manning is not going to throw for multiple teams or have multiple workouts. He will have his “pro day” put together by CAA and all interested parties can come. Going to hurt a lot of feelings (Sanchez, Kolb) but this is the way it will be done.

I have to admit to finding myself really starting to marvel at the pundit’s prediliction to pontificate over Peyton. The NFL Network is unable to cover another story. It’s the Peyton network now, with five hundred talking heads blabbing from every conceivable direction regarding how great he was, is, and where he will end up. NOTE: Next up, his third cousin from another bloodline will discuss his proclivity for pop tarts and popsicles. Gotta run to go watch it! Cue up the Tivo! History is in the making!

Maybe Peyton doesn’t have any flights lined up because he’s already in Miami. He can take care of all of his football business from his house. Throw footballs at boaters’ heads in Biscayne Bay while Stephen Ross fetches him margaritas. Why go anywhere else when he’s already at his destination?

Undoubtably Peyton is one of the best quarterbacks to play the game. With that said as a dolphin fan I wouldn’t be upset if we signed Peyton manning, however I think Flynn is the safer choice as he has most of his career ahead of him and Matt more is an incredible insurance policy. No matter who is our qb I think we are playoff bound 2012! Go phins! Philbin will make the right choice!!! It’s our time, finally!
