Why wouldn't Seattle simply pick up Manning on waivers? What's the risk? They have the room under the cap & enough team in place. Their owner is crazy-rich & it's not like they will spend to the cap w/o Manning. Pick him up, maybe Wayne, & draft a pass rusher or 3

Sure Andy Reid would dump the best qb in the league for a washed up broken neck with a now noodle arm.

There is no bigger fan of Peyton Manning than me, but this is not Peyton Manning from 2004......or 2010 for that matter. It's a gamble and if I'm the Dolphins, I'm gonna gamble on Flynn (assuming Philbin thinks Flynn can be "The Guy"). If Philbin doesn't think Flynn is the guy, then the Dolphins are hosed for yet another season.

What rhymes with Barkley??????

I gotta.believe that thr Dolphins will be looking to M.Flynn as their starter. He is already familiar w/ running the.system coach philbin will be installing.
Manning to Seattle makes more.sense. Seattle is a littke weak at WR, but that could be remidied via FA/Draft. Plus, word is R.Wayne is supposedly following Manning wherever.
The Sea. def. is top 10, the OL is better than avg. and the team plays in a dome.
Its Seattle, people. Its Seattle

Dude, you have been preaching this all day. The Hawks don't play in a dome and their O-line was near the top in sacks allowed. Try doing some homework on this

OK... whatever you say, but they Hawks don't have a top 1o defense (maybe this year) -- don't have a better than average OLine (but it was getting better) and the Dome... ah, that was demolished about a decade or so again.

Wanna try again why he'll sign with my Hawks?

Maybe they offer him more $$$$$$$$$$$.

Didn’t Miami put Brees through a rigorous throwing workout before choosing Culpepper instead? I don’t see them making the same mistake twice. I bet they would sign him tomorrow if they could.

---------------------------------------

You know this is the Dolphins you're talking about, right?

If anyone makes the same mistake twice, ESPECIALLY at QB (where they haven't had one in over a DECADE)....it is them.

My guess? They sign Duante Culpepper.

Didn’t Miami put Brees through a rigorous throwing workout before choosing Culpepper instead? I don’t see them making the same mistake twice. I bet they would sign him tomorrow if they could.

You know this is the Dolphins you’re talking about, right?

I gotta.believe that thr Dolphins will be looking to M.Flynn as their starter. He is already familiar w/ running the.system coach philbin will be installing.
Manning to Seattle makes more.sense. Seattle is a littke weak at WR, but that could be remidied via FA/Draft. Plus, word is R.Wayne is supposedly following Manning wherever.
The Sea. def. is top 10, the OL is better than avg. and the team plays in a dome.
Its Seattle, people. Its Seattle.

Undoubtably Peyton is one of the best quarterbacks to play the game. With that said as a dolphin fan I wouldn't be upset if we signed Peyton manning, however I think Flynn is the safer choice as he has most of his career ahead of him and Matt more is an incredible insurance policy. No matter who is our qb I think we are playoff bound 2012! Go phins! Philbin will make the right choice!!! It's our time, finally!

Oh pleeese, let the stupid dolphins take him.

No dome, no weak-ass division, trying to throw passes at the Ralph (and for that matter, the "razor" and MetLife) with his noodle arm. Brady/Belichick twice a year.

9-10 in the playoffs IN HIS PRIME.

He'll set that franchise back a decade.

pleeesepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasseplease.

Hey Philbin, call Tom Moore, 'cause that's the offense yer runnin' now. Ha-ha!
