Marshall was tied for 2nd in drops in the NFL…. Bess was high in the list also…
Reggie wasn’t getting thrown to a lot of late..

so not a very good trio….

all that said though…. there is probably a better than 60% chance of Manning / Wayne both wearing Phins jerseys by next week….

As a dolphin fan i’d like to see that but Manning makes any receiver look good. And second Hartline is a good receiver. He’s no wes welker but who heard of wes welker before he went to the pats and played for the dolphins?

A .Boldin, R.Wayne and T.Smith would be a pretty nice WR core to go along with the two TE’s and Ray Rice giving Joe Flacco zero excuses, even though Leee Evans lost the AFC title game by not doing his job—catch the ball!

Hey Dolphins fans, it’s so pathetic to see you getting all excited for a washed-up Reggie Wayne and 75% of the old Peyton Manning. Remember, you’re still playing for a Wild Card spot at best as long as Tommy Brady and Bill Belichick are in the division. The same Tommy Brady that threw for over 800 yards against you last season. Manning is a competitor, he might be all smiles and giggles with Irsay now, but he wants to stick it to him for giving up on him.
Peyton will wind up with Houston. The have a top level D, Pro Bowlers on the offense, plays in a dome, plays in the same division, and will get his shot at Colts twice a year.

The Texans have Schaub in the last year of his contract- and he has done a fine job, but if you add a 85% healthy Manning he helps improves them tremedously. And the chips will continue to fall into place- The Redskins will be in play for Schaub to reuntie him wth the young Shanny.

The Dolphins are not ready. Ross is only looking to sell tickets, not build his team to win for a long period of time. Philbin needs to put his stamp on the team with his team.

Imagine… Manning, Bush, Bess, Wayne, Marshall, Fasano (Yes I think Fasano could have Dallas Clark potential). Not to mention Miami’s stellar run defence and above-average secondary.

This would be exciting football for Miami fans! Even with Peyton and Reggie I don’t think they win a superbowl there before Peyton retires in 3 years or less. I have a feeling this neck injury is going to resurface once he takes a hard shot, risky deal for whatever team that signs him.

I use to think Wayne was a bit over rated. Just a poor man Marvin Harrison, But after watching the guy step into the void that was left by Marvin, He has played outstanding. He is one of the better wideouts in the League, I wish him the best, where eva he goes..

and until Marshall can learn the routes and verbiage from Peyton, Wayne can provide productivity and open up options for the Dolphins.

If this happens, they need to upgrade at TE – I like Fasano but unless Manning can turn him into Dallas Clark they may need to draft a TE like Coby Fleener -6’6” TE from Stanford in the 2nd round.
