Yes, as I mentioned earlier, the Donks should go after Manning. However, Fox should refuse to adjust his high school, Tebow offense to suit Manning’s… unique skill set. Hilarious. Tebow fans are a disturbed bunch.

This is nonsense. Denver needs to SUPPORT it’s QB and be greatful that HE got them to the playoffs. Tim Tebow isn’t Tom Brady, but he doesn’t have to be. Let him be Tim Tebow and let him keep winning. He’ll get better with every throw. Denver is going to Tampa/Steve Young Tebow…..

I don’t see this happening – the whole theory of signing PM to a Broncos’ contract will definitely land Ol’ Horseface in some deep doo-doo after all the whackjob zealots we have here will not sit for having Tebow traded or cut – this will not sit well and may result in more than one locust falling from the sky and/or general plague and malaise.

What I do see happening is Peyton going to a contending team if indeed he’s healthy and ready to throw once again. Up here at a mile high, about the only thing the Broncos can contend for (this season anyway) is a bit of respect and unleavened bread.

I expect a lot of teams to do this sort of thing, but few are truly interested, but for any teams that have QB’s that need to have a fire lit under their asses to get them to fix various mental, emotional, or physical problems, the threat of being replaced by Peyton Manning should provide that motivation. And it helps Peyton drive up the price for the handful of teams that are legitimately after him. Good for Peyton.

Not only that but denver has alot of cap room and if they wanted to they could try and sign Mike Wallace to go with Thomas and sign Wayne to a 2 year deal then you have four nice WR

Same agency but different agents. I doubt it will matter that much. A deal for Peyton generates revenue for the agency while the loss would probably be negligible. If Tim is released or traded he should still be able to sign a deal elsewhere and so the agency still wins unless Tim decided to drop Jimmy Sexton, which is unlikely considering he helped Tim become a 1st round pick.

I’d like to see Tebow playing for the Jags, unlike a lot of my fellow Jaguar fans. But there’s no way we are giving up a first round pick all together.

If the Jags dont sign Manning (pipe dream), I would bet my daily earnings from McDonalds that A.) Jags trade 1st round picks with Denver, and maybe a 3rd, for Tebow. Or B.) Jags move up to the second pick, and swap 1st rounds with Denver. However it will cost Elway one of his horse teeth.

Peyton might be one of they few QB’s that could “unseat” Tebow without his fans throwing a fit. Even the most “delusional” Tebow fan would have to concede that would be a good move by the Broncos.

However, I don’t know that John Fox being a run oriented coach is where Peyton would want to go.

The Denver conjecture is entirely based on a comment in Klis’s blog that an “unnamed NFL source”. I’m sorry, but renting a player for maybe 1 or 2 years who will “bench your OC” and may be one hit away from retiring seems like a real stretch. Also, I can’t see two big ego QB’s like Manning and Elway coexisting. Are the Broncos going to blow up their cap space and act like the Raiders hoping for a miracle?. Because even with 36 year Manning, the Broncos are very questionable for a deep playoff push. I’m sorry I don’t buy the story.
