Ok fellas…im convinced that some of yall are either retarded or watch sportscenter & try to run with their ideas! Since shanny came to the team..who did we over pay for? I’ll wait…? I guess we overpayed somuch for our current roster that the league just gave us 63mil to spend in cap space? It would be wrong for us to kick the tires on manning why?? Is it because we have players at the QB position that are worse than Peyton at 50%? Is it because there is no guarantee that we will get RGIII? Or maybe your under the impression that if we get the 36yo Manning, that we can’t use our other 8 draft picks on a project QB in the later rounds? How many of you bums actually watched a game? Yall say we have no Oline..tho I admit it needs more depth..but I find it hard to call an online horrible when they had 4 different backs two who were rookies have 125yrd games. Its stupid to say the team has no talent..i guess that how they managed to have an 17th ranked passing offense behind rex Grossman & John beck..not to mention jabbar Gaffney being the #1 receiver! I guess Peyton would look at our defense & run away..even tho its better than any D as a whole that the colts have ever had? Ohhh..i get it..peyton would say..”looking back..you are the team that ruined my neck..even tho that was 5yrs ago & I won the Superbowl that year”

As a lions fan I think skins after sucking for so long and being without a 5 star leader should draft a future star qb RG3 like the lions did with stafford ,RG3 will be twice what Vick was when he came out and players like that don’t come out every year ,and you can see how stafford has changed the face of the lions .as for manning I think he should go to cardinals he has one of the best Wrs in the game,decent d ,good running game, and can challenge right away , or dolphins Seattle ,49ers ,even though I wouldn’t like him at 49ers they would be the team to beat then.

Just doing it so they don’t get fleeced in the Rams trade. Rams saying that the Redskins were the most likely suitor yesterday in the news. Just the Redskins saying, “Whoa, maybe we aren’t”.

Peyton is going to who ever pays the most, don’t kid yourself thinking he has desire to only play with a contender. He already has played for a contender and he knows this is prolly his last contract as a player.

Talk about jumping the gun…..I`ve been seeing some serious hate towards the Redskins lately and a lot of it is just plain straight up stupidity!!!! In listening to local DC sports radio over the last few weeks and reading comments on sites like PFT, it seems like 90% of Skins fans don’t want Peyton anyway. To all you Skins bashers, don’t act like this is something the fans want just because there’s a “report” that they’ll go after him.

I’m of the opinion that the Skins are using this as leverage to potentially lower the asking price for RG3. Drafting him buys Shanny a few more years. Drafting Peyton likely buys him one year.

Hahahaha he got cut by a 1-15 team, now there’s teams lined up to get him. Who’d have thought that??

Anyhow, the heck with all you haters if he comes to DC, they’re instantly a contender-Heck, they’re going to be a contender next year regardless, even if I’m the only one who see it coming.

As far as they theory he won’t compete with Eli, he may think that way, or he may consider the notion that it would be great theater the Manning football empire could parlay into millions in commercials, endorsements, etc. Think of the face time they’d both get in the lead up to those matches, and remember-he’s not just a QB, Eli and Peyton are the CEO’s of Manning Football Inc. And it’s a guaranteed money maker.

Fortunately for Manning, the decision is his alone and he doesn’t need the money. Did you listen to teh press conference? He wants to go to an established team where he can make the difference between being good and winning a championship. I can’t see him going to any team that’s rebuilding or lacks offensive and defensive weapons. He’ll want a team that runs a similar offense to what he already plays.

Would be stunned if he went into Eli’s division, and surprised if he went to the NFC–although Whis in AZ is a great offensive mind and who wouldn’t want to throw to Fitzgerald? The Jets seem like a wacky suggestion at first glance (from Dungy to Rex??), but with the Tom Moore connection, I wouldn’t rule them out. I’d be surprised if he went to a team in Indy’s division.

It sure is a good time to be a Cards fan…you stumble upon a resurgent Kurt Warner and he and Super Larry get to the Super Bowl…now they’re my odds-on favorite to get Manning.

The Redskins would appear to make the most sense and would instant make them a playoff contender, but I highly doubt he goes to Eli’s division.q
