ReutersGiants running back Ahmad Bradshaw struggled with a foot injury for most of the 2011 season, missing four games. And the foot still hasn’t healed.
Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger reports that Bradshaw underwent a procedure last week on the foot, but that it wasn’t surgery.
Garafolo is right. A league source tells PFT that Bradshaw received a platelet rich plasma-type of injection to help heal the foot. Bradshaw still doesn’t need surgery, and the prognosis is positive.
Still, until the foot is 100 percent, the Giants should be concerned. And that could give Brandon Jacobs a little leverage in talks aimed at reducing his cap number in 2012 and extending his contract into 2013 and beyond.
Jacobs is due to earn a $500,000 roster bonus this month, and a $4.4 million base salary.

Let’s hear it Giant fans, Bradshaw is the best RB…blah, blah, blah, NY is awesome, blah, blah, blah, Eli is swell, blah, blah, blah, Jersey Shore is real life, blah, blah, blah….
Fumble.
Ahmad underwent a procedure on his foot and feels he will be much more effective now that the toes are pointed to the front.

Don’t hate, appreciate.
Yup, everything is SWELL in 4 Time Super Bowl Champions Land. That Championship Flag looks great flying outside the Giants Headquarters!
Love all the giant haters!!! JEALOUSLY IS GRAND WE R THE BEST!
Go figure… Jacobs should be gone unless he’s willing to take less than 1 mil. Bradshaw might be a hair overpaid, and I’m really liking that Miller kid out of Miami. If he’s there at the end of the 1st, I’d take him.
In a related story,Rex Ryan suggested the procedure take place at his home.
Give the guy a break, his Jimmy Choo’s were giving bunions.
What else is new?
Well its no secret that the Giants need new RB’s. D.Scott is a decent back to have but not as a starter. The Giants should really focus on a speedy back in the 1st round. Lamar Miller would be ideal. Face it the Giants haven’t had a true every down back since Barber left.
katrinasafterbirth it must b lonely in ur parents basement, you’ll have to excuse me ur awesome user name confuses me r u a saints fan?
The Good news is that there are several good running backs available in the draft and the GIANTS can get one in Round 2 or Round 3.
It’s great to be SB champs, everyone hates on you for no apperant reason, well maybe it’s because they’re envious of our success. Let’s go GIANTS!

Champion.
he fumbled just once in 2011… my guess is your RB coughed it up more than ahmad, and doesn’t have a ring to show for it.
I swear that foot is going to fall off the day he retires. And by that foot I mean either or both.
And for the re-re’s hollering for David Wilson or Lamar Miller in the first, that’s a waste and anti-Giants draft policy. I’d rather have Polk in the 2nd or 3rd than someone ranked higher in the first.
That being said I love me some Coby Fleener if he falls past the 49ers.
as long as 3rd down draw derrek ward is healthy…
