Texans shouldent have gave 18 million for Arian Foster in one year.They should have made it a even contract instead of a front contract.

The cowgirls pay more underperforming players than any other team in the league. It is fabulous to watch the cowgirls on Sunday and watch Dez disappear in the second half. Get ready LA………. Here come Jerrah!!!!!!

Anyone else glad the grammar/spelling police are patrol?

So what numbers would have been acceptable for a second year WR who is 2nd on the Cowboys depth chart? In general, what are good numbers for a No. 2 wideout, considering most WRs break out, if they have the talent to do so, in their 3rd season? Do you have any idea what the league average actually is for 2nd year WRs? I just looked it up and no other 2nd year WR had more TDs than Bryant, which sounds like he's over-performing in the ultimate category, if anything.

As far as making plays, if you watched the games, you know that Bryant was instrumental in helping Dallas defeat Washington in both games with clutch catches as the clock was running out. Even when Dez isn't making catches, his presence alone opens things up for the other players by occupying two defensive backs. You might not realize it but defensive coordinators certainly do.

BTW, how was my grammar? Did it pass muster? I love constructive criticism so don't hold back. I can take it ;

For the uninformed... Foster's cap # is ~$8M in 2012. Texans had to take care of him, he's done everything you could ask of a pro. Potential for ownership to lose lockerroom if they did #23 wrong.
And Bombacim - did you watch Foster in the playoffs? 123 yds v Ravens? You're dilusional if you don't think Foster is special. I'm happy debating paying RB's given their short shelf lives, but not if your argument is based on Foster just being a guy. He executes the zone blocking system beautifully. While Tate is solid, he's not close to Foster's level and you CANNOT teach vision and patience to a RB.

Why do fans care how much their teams pay for players already on their teams? Fans should be more upset that the team overspent by giving up 18 million to a RB. Especially one that was deemed replaceable in the games he was out last year. He's not special. He has speed and vision. Vision to see gaping holes that the five or six men up front open up for him. These running backs are a dime a dozen and they could have found someone as good in round 3-5 this year. Wake up NFL. They already had two on their team that can put up those numbers.

WRONG! They gave him a front loaded contract because he's played for pennies on the dollar the past two years. It's also a good move because their team is basically locked up this year. His low cap numbers for the next several years mean they will have a top 3 rb in the nfl (haters disagree) for the price of one that's 15th. This will also help with the resignings of several defensive players that become freeagents over the next 3 years.
