Why in the hell the Seahawks don’t resign him I just don’t figure. He is the #1 playmaker on defense. Played hurt all last year and still did great. I remember him limping top speed 75 yards on a pick-6 . All this “We take care of our own” talk in Seattle and only 4 players out of 22 have been resigned. The front office talks a good game but They have a vise-grip on the wallet. It isn’t right. Hawthorne came in and played his rear off when Lofa got hurt. A undrafted FA, played dirt cheep for 3 years. Now they should step up & pay him.

Up-Grade over Lach, huh??? Yeah, you’d need a freakin’ cyborg to do that my friend. Sure he’s lost a step, but that’s what happens over the years, we get slower. His instinct and first step though, above reproach. And at the risk of purveying some Bear-homerism, I’ll take a gheriatric Lach over just about any LB in the show. Go Bears, see you on Bourbon St. boys!!!!

I’ve been a huge fan of Hawthorne since his days in TCU. So he’ll be courted by many teams. A personal favorite player in the NFL, so obviously love to have him in Dennis Allen’s defense.

Hawthorne isnt going anywhere… mark my words, the hawks will re-sign him. They wouldnt let their most productive LB go, specifically because there isnt much to replace him. Move on Chicago, nothing to see here.

Philly wont sign a high priced LB, they will pick up a second tier LB to a one yr deal on the cheap, to try and quiet the natives….
