It’s funny how people just look at the amount reported and assume that’s really what it is. First off, how does anyone know that it really is 11 million guaranteed? Don’t even say because Thomas himself said it. Wait for developing information, as I just read that it isn’t the case.

Before the start of the 2010 season the Giants signed Shawn Andrews to a 6 year $34.5 million contract. What many people don’t realize is it was full of incentives and the only guarantee was the signing bonus of $250,000. Give it a few days and you will be able to see exactly what Thomas’ contract is.

Really I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Thomas had to accomplish things such as start the season as a starter, play/start most games, etc. Usually when a contract is reported, they hardly mention all of the “what if’s” or “ways to earn” the money reported.

Hahaha byrds71 big talk for a fan of pernial choke artists. And atleast our QB is crying like a fary after games about getting hit too much.

Oh and by the way if you ever do manage to win a ring we will still have three more than you do. Oh by the way good job in the 2010 playoffs.

P.S. this contract comes with an option that allow the Giants to dump this contract with a minimuim cap hit. Better luck next time hater.

This is a good move by Reese. TT is the best corner on this team. Had he not gotten injured he would have been sought after as a top free agent and really cashed in. This means ARoss is most likely gone. Have to like the depth in the secondary with Webster, TT, Prince, Rolle, Phillips. Now let’s get Dallas Clark, and draft an LB first round. In Jerry we trust!

That’s hysterical coming from a fan of a team that has never won a Super Bowl and signed an injury prone, run first QB who is on the downside of his career to a $100 million contract. With the pass happy QB’s with the no touch rule DB’s is at a all time high most teams had WO’s in the deference back field at the end of the season.
WO”S is getting bigger 6″5 250lbs DB’s is still 6″ 180lbs.

I told Tim & Pat on Movin’ The Chains last year just after TT got hurt that it was terrible that he got hurt, however, it was good that he got injured so early. With the ACL being a year recovery minimum, had he gotten hurt in November he would still try to come back in September and it would be too soon. An injury like that in the preseason means you can come back the preseason this year and take it easy and be ready for the regular season.

That said, I am glad he got his money. He is a good corner and his play from previous years showed he deserved it.
