Dude, what rock have you been living under? Is there an MSNBC version of Sports News you’ve been getting your “facts” from? I actually live in Aurora, Colorado and watched the nightmare unfold!
The difference is
1) Our HC is not an ego-maniac with “little-dude” syndrome bent on “showing the world” his genius as a personnel dude; like it or not, Bears decisions are not made by one person
2) Our HC won’t look Jay in the eye and lie in his face while flirting with a sub-par QB (Casell)
2) Our owner won’t pretend not to remember promising not to F with the #2 Ranked Offense
3) Don’t see the Bears trading Marshall
4) We don’t have a mini-me version of Bill Belichick (w/o the brains)
5) Lovie (like him or not) has been to a Superbowl (2007) and a NFC Championship (2010) and was 7-3 before losing his starting QB; Hoodie-lite has been on 4 different teams in that time! Do your homework!

Cutler is somewhat injury prone (mostly due to the weak O-line), and Campbell would be quite the upgrade over Hanie and Collins.

As a Raiders’ fan, Campbell is truly a class act, and a fantastic presence in the community. It was very unfortunate how his time in Oakland came to an end, but I wish him only the very best, as he really is one of the NFL’s good guys.

I’m a Skins fan, and wish we kept him over getting McNabb, that said, it always surprised me that people said he didn’t “make it” as a QB because of the Skins. He didn’t “make it” because he is not elite…he’s good enough to play for any team, but I don’t think as a starter.

I do wish him the best…and if the Bears continue to make these free agent signings, they are looking tough!

But at the end of the day, Campbell is still a backup. The drama with Cutler is from the media, not from Cutler. I would hate to be in the spotlight, but would like the paychecks.
