Happy for Carlos…….as a true skins fan, I was enraged when Shanny broke his promise and let his contract drama basically run him out of town! He was our best DB and by far our best man 2 man corner, truly deserved this money 2 years ago! 49ers got themselves a class act

@alldone Fleener would actually be better at WR than Walker. Neither are great blockers for the TE position but Walker is better at it. Plus with Fleener’s size on the edge with Moss you can drop Crabs into the slot

Glad to see Rogers back. He’ll be a great option for the next two years or so while Culliver develops. Would also like to see the team continue to bolster the CB corps by signing Bay Area native Eric Wright away from the Lions.

Combine this with the Randy Moss signing, draft Stephen Hill, Kendall Wright, or Coby Fleener (then move Delanie Walker to WR) in the 1st, a RG in the 2nd, and Marvin Jones in the 3rd, and the only real area left to upgrade will be at QB.

Of only the niners would sign a real qb they would be superbowl favorites.

Also with Rodgers back the niners defense could have an all time great season. In the en Alex smith will hold them back

Fantastic for both sides. Niners avoid the absolute CB price melee that Finnegan just set off, and Rogers stays where he knows and can be effective.

With this signing the league’s most dominant defense from 2011 is intact. With OTA’s, brewing coinfidence and a graowing nasty attitude, these guys are gonna win some road games next year.

niners are stock piling where their weaknesses were last year. WR and secondary will have a ton of competition come training camp.
