@linville – doesn’t carolina run a 4-3 defense? I think he can do well alongside sean lee in the middle. In a 3-4 defense he won’t be roaming in as much open space by himaelf. Just my opinion but I think he will be fine switching to a 3-4

Connor also has an injury history. He had surgery last year so you don’t know if he is fully healthy.

Input from a Panthers fan: Connor is a solid backup inside LB who is a good downhill tackler inside the box. However, he struggles to play in space and can’t cover anyone. You feel good having him as a backup, but if he’s penciled in as a starter you’re in trouble.
