I still remember when both Cutler and Marshall were talking about it on Twitter, but I knew that the process of getting them back together is so much more complicated than some random tweets.

He relived Tim Ruskell of his duties. I loved that move. Angelo brought him in for extra cancer. He got Jeremy Bates, Cutler’s old QB coach in Denver, he is having a great relationship with Lovie.

I’m also sick of people talking about him signing only backups and depth so far during free agency.

The Bears were 7-3 last season before all the injuries occurred. We missed out on the playoffs last season due to lack of depth.

Guess what…Phil Emery is taking care of that too.

I’m not going to grade him on this years NFL Draft, because he said that he hasn’t installed his system of scouts and selecting players for this season, but will start next season.

So far, gets two thumbs up.

Guy is a stud.

Last year he caught more assault and battery charges than touchdown passes.

In addition, marshall has been diagnosed with “Borderline Personality Disorder.” You’ll need to hire a full time shrink and a handful of burly orderlies.

Marshall had 13 TD’s in 2 years for the Fins.

Fins gave up 2 second round picks for him and got back 2 third round picks.

Let’s stop all this talk of the Bears robbing the Fins blind.

Either way, good move by Chicago. I’ve been preaching forever that you guys need to get a receiver, and you finally did it. Too bad your QB is still a tool.

Bears could have Jerry Rice in his prime. Until Cutler can win a big game that matters without going color blind, the O-line can protect him and create running lanes, and that aging defense can improve, Bears aren’t winning any division…unless they jump to the AFC overnight.

Chicago Cubs got rid of Crazy Zambrano – went to Miami.

Chicago Bears got Brandon Marshall from the Fins in a steal.

Miami got Mark Buehrle from Chicago.

I’d say Chicago is batting 3 for 4 vs Miami.

Greg Olsen…who I still say was a mistake to let go of in CHI…and I’m a Pack fan.

This is a great move for CHI, but don’t forget that the second Moss signed with the Pats they were guaranteeing rings galore.

In all honesty, until CHI gets better and deeper on O-line, you can have every good looking FA out there and still not seal the deal…see the ’11 Eagles team.
