The draft it is not an exact science. Sometimes you just plain swing and miss. It happens to all of the teams and even the very best talent evaluators are not exempt. The only exception I put on this rule is that 1st rounders should be a lock to become a starter very quickly. After the 1st round, every kid has risk attached to him.

There must be some sort of mix up in the treatment of his injury. He obviously wasn’t following the directions of the Packers medical staff. He is the first Packers player ever caught with performance enhancers isn’t he?

A class organization like the Packers will deal with this situation very effectively with these bad influences from down South in Indiana.

More likely he hasn’t been good enough or productive enough so he was looking for an advantage and got caught.

Love how Packer fans attack players from other teams who get suspended (i.e. saying the Williams Wall was taking PEDs when they weren’t) but then make excuses for their own.

Well one thing he has going for him is Rodgers is great friends with Braun so getting his attorney should be no problem.

As a packer fan I am disgusted with this kid.. Not only did I feel last year his knee injury he milked way longer than it should have taking.

2 years of nothing and now suspended for 4 games it is time for the Packers to send a clear message to Mr Mike Neal and that message is your time in Green Bay is up.

Not surprising. Given that he was trying to get back onto the field and by all indications that they should have just put him on the shelf for 2011, I’m sure he took something to try to speed up the healing process and got caught.
