Peyton Hillis visiting Kansas City

Peyton Hillis’s new home could be in Kansas City.

Hillis, the free agent Browns running back, will pay a visit to the Chiefs, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Although he was one of the NFL’s biggest disappointments in 2011, Hillis has shown flashes of talent, especially in 2010 when he had 270 carries for 1,177 yards, added 61 catches for 477 yards, and scored 13 touchdowns. The Chiefs could have themselves a good running attack if they could pair a healthy Hillis with a healthy Jamaal Charles in their backfield.

Hillis checks in at No. 39 on our Free Agent Hot 100.

H&H are over rated. Did Randy give these guys 6 years to turn the Browns around.

Hillis, Thomas Jones and McCluster. Good trio at RB for the Chiefs if they get him.

“Hillis has shown flashes of talent, especially in 2010″

The Browns’ OC in 2010 was Brian Daboll, the Chiefs’ new OC.

Bye Peyton, been nice! Now just go and take your fumbles and drama with you. Welcome to Cleveland Trent Richardson or Lamar Miller.

if the chiefs pickup hillis i wonder how there gonna utilize him would it be stricly goal line? cuz if u look at it in depth charles is comin of surgery but u kno he’s the starter thomas jones still has a lil somethin left in the tank and then u have mccluster who u can use in numerous ways

  21. thraiderskin says: Mar 13, 2012 9:23 PM

I wish the Redskin’s could afford him… but since the NFL robbed them, I would guess it is out of the question.

Take him and the 5 agents he has fired.
Won’t miss you Hillis – signed Cleveland.

I like Hillis but, if the Browns could sign Bush, I’d let him (Hillis) walk, too.
