Does the penalty from the league prevent the Cowboys from going after anybody? Haven’t seen them mentioned in any post for any player yet. With Washington being so aggressive, the ‘boys are looking at an awfully long season.

Do the redskins have cap space or not?

What is the outcome of the 36million dollar retraction for the League Office?

Are they signing FAs as if they still had the 36million or are these signings within their revised cap space?

Nice to see the Vikings taking their usual approach to FA: sitting on the sidelines watching all the great players available sign with other teams, then we’ll pickup all the has-beens and never was’s when the good players are gone, and listen to that maroon Spielman talk about how those players “were the top targets we had all along”. With the new cap floor of 90% and then 95% of the cap has to be spent coming into effect next year, Tampa has to spend money. Now is the time to overspend for the top talent. Get Nicks, and please consider dumping Trueblood and going after Winston and all of a sudden we have the best OL in the league. The game is still won in the trenches.

Isn’t that the whole point of Free Agency? That’s why the NFL is so popular. The Eagles and the Skins are known for this, and if you look at the players on the Buccaneers for the last few years, they have had more starters on their team that they DRAFTED or picked up Undrafted FA’s than any other team for the past few years. They dumped all their top players a couple of years ago, and started over…

If the Bucs get Vincent Jackson and Carl Nicks, look out in the NFC South. They will be improved, especially if they get Finnegan and some other pieces to help on defense. Saints are going to be on the downfall after the bounty situation and Brees contract situation and the Falcons still need alot of help on defense.
