Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports reports that the Bengals have scheduled a free agent visit with running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
Green-Ellis’ market has been underwhelming thus far. This is his first known free agent meeting.
The 27-year-old’s primary assets are ball security and short-yardage efficiency. Green-Ellis lacks big-play ability, and doesn’t help much in the passing game.
In Cincinnati, Green-Ellis would complement undersized but elusive Bernard Scott. The Bengals would likely also supplement the position in the draft.
