I hope McNeill’s injuries are behind him and he gets another shot on a good team. He’s a good LT and a great guy. Was sorry to see him leave San Diego.

Would be nice to have all three of these guys. They freed up a lot of cap space yesterday. Wouldn’t mind resigning Backus if he was willing to work cheap for depth at least, possibly move him to guard or RT.

Lions need to get Avril signed long-term to free up cap space. Once other DEs on the market get signed in free agency he’ll know his market value and they should be able to work out something fair.

They really need a veteran back that can help block on passing downs…..a big back……one with attitiude and will punch ya in the mouth………….Brandon Jacobs. Its been a long time, if ever, that we had a guy like that to get the tough yards and help pass protection.
