The Browns have said publicly that they’re interested in re-signing free agent safety Mike Adams. But he’s not staying in Cleveland without shopping his wares.

Adams revealed on his Twitter account Wednesday that he’s headed to Denver for a free agent visit. The Broncos hosted Brandon Meriweather after the commencement of free agency, but no deal was signed.

Meriweather is visiting the Redskins today.

Adams would be an older, if more stable veteran fallback option for Denver. The 31-year-old free safety can also play cornerback, and tallied three interceptions to go with 64 tackles as a Brown last season.
