Large athletic tight ends in this league are coveted, and while I do concede he still has a heck of a lot to prove, I’d much rather have him than some 4th tier also-ran manning the TE position. I’m really happy with this and the Marshall trade, and I’d really love to see the Bears go for Hill in the draft (I don’t see Floyd falling to the Bears at 19 now).

Personally, I’d rather have him than Greg Olsen.

Don’t get me wrong, Olsen was a phenomenal player and could catch the ball, but he couldn’t block at all.

Mike Tice’s offense revolves around the running back so they’re going to need some solid blockers — Tight Ends included.
