Rams to host free agent quarterback Shaun Hill on Thursday

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that free agent quarterback Shaun Hill will visit Rams Park on Thursday.

The Lions want to keep Hill, a capable backup with a 13-13 career record as a spot starter and a 39:23 touchdown-to-interception ratio. But Hill is shopping himself around first.

The Rams’ backup quarterback for the past two seasons has been A.J. Feeley. Feeley is an unrestricted free agent, and isn’t known to have generated any interest on the open market.

I miss that guy from his 9er days. If he sits behind either Bradford or Stafford, he’s bound to get some paying time next year either way.

I hope he stays in Detroit… The guy lacks arm strength for the vertical passing game, but as backups go he’s pretty solid.

Really cuz how cinehe only took a few non garbage reps. He doesnt feel like he will get a chance t play. Good signing now you 9ers got a deep threat reciever with a noodled arm qb.

Worst starting quarterback since Tim Tebow. Seriously. He may have had a couple lucky games, but anyone who knows anything about football knows this guy is terrible.
