Getty ImagesIn a transaction corresponding to Wednesday night’s release of guard Robert Gallery, the Seahawks announced that they have agreed to terms with offensive lineman Paul McQuistan.
McQuistan started 10 games last season, four at left tackle, three at right guard, and three more at left guard. That kind of versatility is appealing when teams are searching for backups on the offensive line.
McQuistan won’t enter the 2012 season as a starter, but he is familiar with position coach Tom Cable’s schemes and shouldn’t struggle to land a roster spot.

Paul McQuistan is a jack of ALL trades kind of guy. He is getting better the more he plays and that is a BIG plus on the O-Line.
Ugliest player in the nfl?
I’d certainly cast this guy in the Goonies sequel…
Holy creature!!!!
wtf seahawks
This guy reminds me of Roy L. ‘Rocky’ Dennis from the movie “Mask”…
This guy has value and is a good signing. If the Seahawks are able to sign Hutchinson they will have the flexibility to improve the offensive line over the next two or three years through the draft. I get the feeling they are going all in for Matt Flynn and will draft a pass rushing defensive end in the draft.
Excellent! And mvpolamu, cheap shot. Post your photo. Bet it’s a winner.
Great photo! He looks like he is about to hear “I’m Chris Hanson from Dateline.”
Thank god for helmets
Hey it’s my cousin margaret!
O’Doyle Rules!!
Gallery didn’t last very long as a Seahawk. He ended the year injured. Does anybody know if he still is injured?
Dudes uglier than Boy George
He takes his aggression out on the field cause that guy doesn’t get laid without paying for it.
